What’s it made of?

Four organic, high-strength herbal extracts:

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) has a long tradition of external use for eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, cuts and abrasions. Its actions are antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and vulnerary, assisting in skin repair. We use only the highest quality organic herbal extracts.

Licorice root contains a compound (glycyrrhizin) that has powerful anti-inflammatory effects. The licorice root in Hope's Relief cream is extra high grade, 1:1 concentration, derived using cold percolation extraction methods. Quality assurance guarantees high potency active constituents of glycyrrhizin.

Gotu kola (Cantella asiatica) has a long history of treating a range skin disorders and is said to heal without a scar. Studies have shown extracts of this plant increase collagen production and strengthen connective tissue, which also makes Hope's Relief cream an excellent daily moisturiser.

Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis) is one of the great healing plants, famous for antibiotic, cooling and soothing effects. It penetrates deeply to moisturize and soften the skin, bringing great relief to itchy, dry or damaged skin.

Manuka honey from New Zealand has proven antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal activity. It is used externally on sores, cuts and abrasions to help prevent infection. The Manuka honey selected for use in Hope's Relief cream is 100% pure, containing the UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) that independent studies recognise as being the most potent.

Three homeopathics: Sulphur, Rhus Tox and Graphites are the main homeopathics used to treat eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and other skin conditions. Their inclusion greatly enhances the effectiveness of the formula. The inclusion of homeopathy (like cures like) introduces a dynamic force to Hope's Relief cream that gives almost instant relief from itchiness and helps restore the body to a state of balance.

The active ingredients constitute a significant portion of the cream, rarely seen in commercial products. The reminder of the cream is made of top quality vegetable base, composed of jojoba and almond oils and vitamin E.
