As a mum, seeing a child with dry flaking and itchy skin was tough. Sadly my first instinct was to blame myself (that I had somehow caused this). This thought consumed my every waking moment. But instead of spiralling down, I decided now was the time for me (as a mother) to rise up.
I became educated on everything I was putting in and on my daughters skin….. I researched beautiful, gentle, natural skincare ingredients used from our home in Australia, and drew upon ingredients used for centuries from my Indian heritage.
After much research (and of course with the help of professional organic formulation chemists) we created a range of organic, natural, toxic free everyday skincare products to cleanse - calm - deeply moisturise skin.
One of the best parts about our journey is what started as a quest to help my daughter, has in fact helped many others as well.

Step 1: Cleanse
Skin Relief Bath Salts is a gentle bath soak, made using Himalayan and Dead Sea Salts, organic neem, calendula, paw paw, arnica and chamomile to:
- Cleanse your skin
- Prevent a build up of dirt, impurities on skin
WHEN TO USE: When your skin looks like it need some calming, loving care.
Step 2: CALM
Level 1: Skin Relief is an organic, rich moisturising cream with added coconut, jojoba, avocado, neem, turmeric, vitamin e, rosehip oil and shea butter. This cream soothes and hydrates your skin, providing relief from dry, flaking skin.
WHEN TO USE: Apply on dry flaking skin on face, body, scalp, or use as a daily hand cream.
Level 2: Skin Relief is a natural, toxic-free cream with added centella, tea tree oil, calendula, St John’s wort and chamomile to calm minor skin concerns, as red, itchy skin.
WHEN TO USE: When your skin feels sore.
The Skin Relief Level 2 does not contain added moisturisers, therefore we highly recommend using it with our Ultimate Barrier Cream.
Step 3: HYDRATE
My Mia's Ultimate Skin Barrier Cream is a deeply hydrating
moisturising cream containing organic coconut, sweet almond,
rosehip, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, ceramide and

My Mia’s Skin Relief’s Business Ethos
Having dry and irritated skin is not pleasant but just knowing that someone has no skin at all due to severe burns is utterly heart breaking. We are sending our love (via proceeds from our sales) to the Fiona Wood Foundation; a charity that is developing spray-on skin technology for severe burns patients.
Mia takes her skin relief products to school and camp, so we need to use plastic BPA free tubes to make sure they are safe to use. However, we still want to make sure we are looking after our planet. We have committed to running a carbon neutral business by planting a grove of trees every year to offset our carbon footprint.
I started off as just a mother who wanted to help my daughter.... But now my mission is to help others.
